When creating a new world or just playing an existing world in single player mode, everything goes smoothly until it gets to downloading terrain. It maxes out my CPU usage, and I have a quad core 4 GHz CPU. After it finally finishes, I can't get any drops from blocks that I break or open any containers except for the Inventory. I'm guessing this is an internet connection problem to say the least. If anything else, there is a lot of terrain to download, and your minecraft gives up before finishing. Browse and download Minecraft Terrain Projects by the Planet Minecraft community. Download and open Minecraft.dmg. Drag Minecraft to your Applications folder to install it. Other maps work fine, its just this one map I call "Testing" for obvious reasons. Its a cr I don't have poor connection to the server. The 'proxy.hypixel.net' only works if direct joining hypixel, but if I add it to the server list, it still has the same "downloading terrain" and the disconnection after a few minutes. The issue for me is everytime I tried to get on massive there's everytime I download terrain it tooks a few minutes before I was able to load myself in the world, Yet the worst thing is when that happened it is often accompanied by long delay in sending messages out for example when I tried to say Hi it takes a minute before it pops up.
